long bio:

Arlo Indigo is a singer-songwriter project from a Brooklyn-based, Alaskan-raised musician that first emerged in Portland around twenty thirteen following the untimely loss of its founder's previous band's drummer, a moment which inspired a decisive shift towards solo, uncompromising creative expression. What started as a vehicle for writing and releasing music entirely on his own terms quickly grew into a fully-fledged creative identity, and has continued to gain momentum ever since.

Distilling the timeless spirit of American heartland songwriting into a signature sound characterized by emotionally honest songs anchored in Harlan Howard's enduring mantra that "music ain't nothing but three chords and the truth," Arlo's sonic presence is equally as electric fronting a full band as in a stripped-back solo setting, a quality that has earned him the support of a diverse and growing fanbase through a slew of immersive, heartfelt live shows to date.

Beyond his own releases, Arlo has become a driving force in Brooklyn's independent music community — curating charity shows, championing emerging songwriters, and supporting the visual artists whose work keeps the scene turning. Now with a string of singles and independently released albums – including his most recent release ‘Normalized Cringe’ – to his name and a mostly analog covers record spotlighting kindred artists from his corner of the scene on the horizon, Arlo Indigo is preparing for his most visible chapter yet.
